This is Misha
This was a cool cartoon of myself I thought looked like me. Perhaps I was wrong.
This was a sketch where I was exploring body language and gesture. Without intending to, the first figure ended up looking like Jesus. He looked lke he was bending down to touch the legs of someone. In India, that is a sign of respect you show elder family members or teachers upon meeting them. I thought it would be fitting to have him touching the legs of Ganesha, the god of compassion.
This is Leymah Gbowee, Nobel Peace Prize Winner. Featured in the same Reader's Digest, August 2011
This was an early drawing of James I did just after we were out of college.
This is a drawing of James and his wife Mira. James is always a showman for the camera.
This is my drawing of my friend, Neilesh. He is Samir's brother.
This is my drawing of Benn. One of my best.
This my first attempt to draw my cousin, Aman. The eyes are far too wide, and he looks like a bug because I lost his resemblance halfway through the drawing.
This is a drawing of myself I made from a younger photo of me. Turned out pretty good.
This is a selfie with me and my Grandma. I like how it not only resembls both of us, but that I managed to preserve the lens distortion.
This is Rahul laughing at his wedding.
This is my second attempt to draw Aman after the first sketch. I don't know when it went from being a portrait drawing to a characature that doesn't look like him, but there it is.
This is my friend Chris.
This is drawing of a different friend also named Ben.
This is light pencil drawing of a photo of my Mom. One of the first times I got the proportions right. Someday Ill get over my fear and try using darker pencils.
